Mold installation
First, you need to place the mold base on the die casting machine table. And adjust the position of mold. So that it is aligned with the machine base. Then we will fix the mold base to the table use bolts and nuts. And ensuring that the mold the tighteneing force is evenly distributed. When installing the mold, check the dynamic and static templates to ensure that there are no foreign objects and high points on the surface, and install the lifting equipment correctly. Lift it when it is safe, and ensure that the mold does not shake before entering the machine tool.
Mold clamping
The pressure oil in the mold closing cylinder drives the mold closing mechanism to move the mold template to close the mold. The mold opening mechanism will close the movable mold and the fixed mold.
Pouring
Pour the molten metal into the injection chamber, first slowly fill the injection chamber(Shot sleeve), then perform high-speed injection to quickly fill the mold cavity with the molten metal. During the pouring process, it is usually necessary to spray a demoulding liquid in the mold cavity to help the subsequent casting demoulding.
Cooling and shrinkage compensation
Shrinkage compensation is performed when the casting is cooling to ensure the density of the casting. The cooling water pipe is used to cool the die.
Mold opening and ejection
The pressure oil in the mold clamping cylinder drives the mold clamping mechanism to move the template to open the mold. The ejection mechanism ejects the casting from the mold and then resets. The ejection cylinder drives the demoulding mechanism to eject the casting from the moving mold core.
Cleaning and maintenance
Finally, clean and paint the mold to start the next cycle. Regularly check whether the mold lifting eyebolts, screw holes and lifting equipment are intact to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment and molds during heavy lifting.
